Ready * Willing * Able

to work hard for a brighter Northglenn

Proudly endorsed by the State and Northglenn Fraternal Order of Police!!

WHAT I WILL DO IF ELECTED:

  • Work together with other members of Council to address issues facing Northglenn
  • Encourage citizen participation
  • Respond to resident concerns in a timely and thorough manner
  • Treat all residents, staff, and fellow Council members with respect
  • Collaborate with other jurisdictions to solve regional issues
  • Represent the City in a dignified and professional way
  • Advocate for Northglenn with regional, state, and federal entities to acquire external funds
  • Be proactive and plan for the future of Northglenn
  • Bring a positive attitude to the table

IMPORTANT ISSUES I WANT TO ADDRESS AS A COUNCIL MEMBER

  • Economic development - 4 vacant shopping centers, we must bring in more sales tax revenue.  I support keeping Northglenn Urban Renewal Authority (NURA) in its current configuration - it needs to remain separate but partnered with City Council

  • Street repair and maintenance - particularly Huron Street and 112th Avenue - the ballot question extending the 4 mill property tax is necessary to maintain basic street repairs. Alternative sources of funding will need to be identified to address more serious issues of street replacement.

  • Infrastructure improvement - find solutions to address aging water and sewer lines before homeowners are faced with large repair bills

  • Recreation Center - a decision about it’s future must be made once and for all with your ideas

  • Resident involvement - more resident outreach and input is needed in Northglenn - the voice of a few should not govern all
